Support ebay OutOfStockControl setting to keep items listed when 0 stock
Ending the listing when out of stock really screws up the built-up interest in the listing - watchers, 'sold' figures, outside links etc.
It would be good to have the listings stay active when the item goes out of stock.This feature looks to implement this perfectly.

When I was running OpenBay on OC 1.5.6.4 I modified the system/ebay.php file to make this behaviour work.
I've recently upgraded to OC 2.0.3.2 and only just realised after a week of use that this still isn't default behaviour (after accidentally ending a few long-lived listings).
eBay simplified their out of stock behaviour a while back, and all that's required to set a listing to out of stock is to set the stock quantity to zero.
When OpenBay sees an item hit zero stock, it ends the eBay listing (if set to) and then disconnects the OC product from the eBay listing. In the case where the 'end listing' all that is needed is to remove the behaviour that disconnects the product / listing, and add behaviour to set the eBay quantity to zero.
On OC 1.5.6.4, I had to modify the endItem function in the ebay.php file to:
comment out the second instance of: $this->removeItemByItemId($item_id);
add after the previous edit: $this->call('item/reviseStock/', array('itemId' => $item_id, 'stock' => 0));
That had me running quite nicely for about a year on OC 1.5.6.4. I've only just started looking at the code for 2.0.3.2 and won't have time to test things for a few days, but the code looks identical and the same changes 'should' work.
It would be great if the OpenBay developers could add this behaviour, preferably with a button to enable / disable it in the admin.

An absolute necessity for any eBay seller that is serious about retaining listing history and sales history of a product. This feature can't come soon enough

This is absolutely necessary for our items! We have alot of items we've spent years building up the good ranking. Would love this feature please!
Can you give us an estimate on when this might be available?

has this been implemented yet?

When will this feature be added? When the item goes out of stock I need to keep the listing active on ebay but just change the quantity to 0.

Hi, yes I would like this implemented also. At the moment i have to turn off the ebay setting in openbaypro to end items when 0 stock. When i receive an email from openbay pro that an item has gone out of stock I just set the quantity of that item on ebay to 0 manually so it still stays active. If I did not do this I would lose my sales history on ebay.

Hi,
I would love to see this feature developed and enable, I sell ride on toys all year round and sometimes I go out of stock for short periods, ending the listings will not work for me since all the watchers/interest/page views will be lost when re-listed and more important sold figures will be lost and buyers do look at quantity sold when making a decision to buy.
I do offer pre-order on some items so automatically ending the listing when stock is zero in OC could be set to pre-order instead in Ebay for me and other options for other users of OpenbayPro

Sorry but we don't have a definite date for the feature, it is likely within the next few months though. It is quite high up our list to look into!

Do you have a rough date in your development plan for completion? Would help my planning aswell to know an estimate if you have one :)

Yes this is already on our development plan - thanks for adding it though.
